You may be a Small Business but you have a Big Voice

Many businesses are feeling helpless as the mainstream media, power hungry politicians and everyone takes to the internet to share their opinion over the dangers of coming within 6 feet of anyone.  As a matter of fact, nobody would have ever thought that we would get to where we are now back a few months ago.  It seems like overnight, our ability to conduct business and help our customers have been stripped away.  Below, you will read steps on how to create your voice to help your business reach the public and start creating a revenue stream to help you and your business survive.

It is becoming a common occurrence that the freedoms are being taken away on a daily basis.   In Kentucky, parishioners of Maryville Baptist Church vehicles were met with nails in the parking lot to damage tires while Kentucky State troopers wrote down their license numbers and placed quarantine notices of listed fines if they did not comply with staying at home.  Another church, James Baptist Church in Greenville, Mississippi was shut down Thursday before Easter while they were practicing social distancing in their cars.  Each parishioner as well as the pastor were served $500 tickets and a potential jail term for worshiping.  They were approached by police and told to roll down their windows so they could receive the ticket.  A Los Angeles County Deputy arrested a paddle boarder who was alone enjoying self-isolation activities in the ocean.  The only living things around him were the fish as the police waited for him to catch a wave that brought him into the beach to meet him with handcuffs.  A Colorado father was handcuffed in front of his 6 year old daughter and wife while the three practiced t-ball at an empty local park.  The Michigan Governor, Gretchen Whitmer, banned farmers from buying seeds, but allows the sale of lottery tickets.  This order was given a week after she restricted people from visiting their secluded vacation property.  The hypocrisy continues as Chris Cuomo, the New York Mayor’s brother and liberal radio host on CNN who supposedly contracted the virus quickly recovering was seen outside with a group of people after dinner. When a gentlemen riding a bike stopped about 20 feet away and watched him for a small length of time; he was confronted by a member of the group asking what he was doing.  The bike rider said in shock, “I was just wondering why someone who is advocating everyone to stay at home and not work was in public after he said he had the coronavirus.”  Now we have mobile phone apps, like the one in Texas’ Collin County, across the country encouraging citizens to report their neighbors just like they did in Nazi Germany in 1938!

These liberties are being erased on a daily basis.  In fact many Texas County judges are modeling their unconstitutional orders after far left liberal Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins.  Jenkins violated Texas Governor Greg Abbot’s recommendations and imposed stricter enforcement of shutting down as many businesses as he possibly could all in the name of stopping the spread of a virus that has had 128,992 reported deaths (remember CDC has instructed Medical Examiners to list the cause of death to COVID-19 if they suspect the victim might have had the virus but it was not confirmed) which is .000379 percent of the population in the United States.

You and your business do not have to just sit on your hands and let the government or mainstream media dictate what your livelihood will look like.  With the proper Digital Media Platform, you will still be able to communicate with potential clients and customers sharing ways that you can provide them goods or services.  Here are some things that DeliveryMaxx highly recommends you to do on a consistent basis (If you have any questions on how to do these things, DeliveryMaxx will be happy to give you advice at no charge how you can do this yourself):

·       Blogs- These are written pieces that have the ability to educate the consumer with facts and supporting documents.  Great stories on how the product or service is being used can validate these assertions.  It is also important to insert current events into these blogs.  Letting the public know that you know what is going on in the world is important.

·         Reviews- Many companies talk about getting a “lot of stars”, but reviews are so much more than that.  The goal is to have customers mention the product/service, why they visited your business and who specifically helped them.  Have you ever notices negative reviews state all of these things, but positive reviews might be a one word or one sentence on why they are happy?  Businesses should make it available and easy for their happy customers to be able to share their complete experience with the world on multiple platforms.  Video Testimonies should also be part of every businesses digital media strategy.  If we can see a customer truly happy, then it is more believable.  If you are a business that still pays for “Fake Reviews” customers can see through this.  Number one, those reviews are not being looked at by the average customer and number two, if you are spending that much time on “Fake Reviews” your business will never achieve maximum profitability.

·         Daily Post- There must be a method behind your post.  Are the post engaging to customers?  Do they create an emotion that can create a call to action?  If you are paying a company to put the same post on your sites as every other one of their clients sites than you are not understanding how daily post work.  In addition, you should be putting daily post on all of your social media sites to make sure you are optimizing the opportunity to reach additional customers.  Be sure to post on all of your Social Media Sites.  However, you will want to make sure they are optimize driving traffic back to your website.

·         Video Messaging- There is nothing better than a candid video that talks about your business or the service you provide.  The most searched videos are “How to Videos”.  Everyone utilizes the internet to find information.  If you want people to search your business, you better have the information they are looking for.

·         Automated Follow Up- Customer Retention is easier than finding new customers.  Your digital strategy should have a consistent approach to letting the customer know you care.  This should also be in a digital format to allow your customer to easily share the information with all of their friends and family.

·         Email Blast- If you have an ad campaign or important information you want to put into the hands of all of your clients, this is one of the easiest ways to do it.  We don’t recommend to overpopulate your clients’ inbox, but strategic plans of actions can enhance your digital media strategy.

·         Website Development & Optimization- This is your new store front.  Since many brick & mortal locations have been shut down, you must have a great website that is easy to navigate and ultimately allowing customers to purchase or find information out about your services.  It should be optimized so your customer can find you.

How Business Will Change Post COVID-19

Businesses large and small are facing an array of challenges amid a global pandemic which is forcing business to quickly adapt to a new normal.  Unfortunately, many businesses, especially smaller local establishments are behind the curve and do not have the tools they need to operate during this time and are relegated to waiting for normalcy to return.
However, will normal routines truly return?  Prior to the spread of COVID-19, the future looked very bright for local, independent businesses.  According to a survey by A.T. Kearney, 81% of Generation Z preferred shopping in stores, and 73% of them liked to discover new products at retail locations.  Over half of this key demographic enjoyed visiting brick-and-mortar stores in order to disconnect from an increasingly digital world.

Sadly, because of the global pandemic the preference of young Americans to shop local is in severe jeopardy.  People quickly form habits, and do not easily break from them.  Currently the habits being formed during mandated lockdowns are those of shopping online and visiting big box stores.  As society weathers this storm, the harsh reality is that even after lockdowns and restrictions are lifted, the fear being sown of close contact will not leave anytime soon.  With health experts suggesting eradicating social customs such as shaking hands and limiting social interaction even after the pandemic passes, our sense of normal is unlikely to return soon, if ever.

How will local stores and services survive in a post-corona world?  Thankfully, it is not impossible.  Companies must become more active on social media in order to share their message, promote services, and remind buyers why they love to shop locally.  Online reviews are more important than ever, responses show your potential customers that you are actively involved in engaging with the community.  And creating websites that allow customers to buy your products and services online or arrange for curbside pick-ups is a crucial step your business needs to take.  Not only will this allow you to operate now, but still cater to those customers who will be practicing social distancing for the foreseeable future.  Digital follow-up with your customers keeps your business at the front of their minds, as opposed to larger retail services that they are turning to now, breaking these habits from being formed.

Many local businesses practice the things above by employing someone either part-time or full-time, or spending a large amount of their own time to do so, and many local businesses simply cannot afford to do this.  That’s where DeliveryMaxx comes in, for a fraction of the cost you can achieve all the things you need to do to adapt to a “new normal”.  At DeliveryMaxx, our program is completely customized specifically for your business.  Our support staff is available 24/7, and our passion is helping local businesses be successful.  Visit www.deliverymaxx.com or call 888-936-6299 for more information, and together lets shop, live, and support local.

Using Social Media to become the “Go To” Source for Information

As the amount of contradicting information appears on our news feeds faster than the change in Texas weather; the public is looking for trusted sources they can count on to make informed decisions.  Today, with our mainstream media sensationalizing every story to increase their ad revenue, corrupt politicians trying to increase their power at the national, state and local jurisdictions, and average everyday citizen who has a personal agenda they are trying to push; people are trying to find a “Go To” Source to find the right information to help them make inform wise decisions.

Businesses who are trying to reach their consumer must be vigilant in producing enough information on their digital network to help build trust and allow them to increase their market share.  As the economy is heading down a path much like it did during The Great Depression of 1929 to 1933, it will be vital for businesses to become more active than ever utilizing a complete digital media strategy to stay alive.

When it comes to an online digital strategy, businesses must make sure their message is concise and supportive of their narrative.  If a business provides a great product or service, there should be several pieces to their online digital media strategy that supports these claims:

An example of businesses or entities who have spread information that has been counterproductive for the consumer is the Centers of Disease and Control (CDC).  For example, the CDC currently is showing a misleading graph that states that 40% of Coronavirus cases end in death which is 22,124.  This government funded entity that benefits from taxpayer funding has already instructed our health officials to list every death of those that might have symptoms close to those who really do have COVID-19 as a Coronavirus death.  Their graph also doesn’t show the fact that many Americans probably had the Coronavirus in November or December which was well before the media used fearmongering to utilize power hungry politicians into scaring the population into seclusion.  Ultimately and unconstitutionally ordering businesses to shut their doors.

There are several instances where the CDC manipulates the American public in believing they should all stay at home and hide from a virus that will be seasonal.  As a matter of fact, Covid-19 has been around for over a decade and we have never had the overreaction that we have had today.  First, if you were to superimpose the geographical area of the United States over Europe you would see that you could fit the countries of Ireland, United Kingdom, Denmark, Germany, France, Spain, Austria, Poland, Belarus, Italy, Romania, Greece, Turkey, Ukraine and more into the United States.  Second, add up all of the deaths in those countries and the United States death total is much less.  Not only are the deaths from the Coronavirus much less than the 2.2 Million predicted by Neil Ferguson who based his model on 100% of the population getting the virus (which has never happened in the history of the world), but now the prediction is much closer to 60,000 total deaths in America.  If we were to take our investigation a step further, the 2017-2018 mortality rate from the flu was 80,000 according to the CDC which was a mortality rate of .00024449877.  The Great State of Texas had 9,470 deaths from the same flu in 2017-2018 and their mortality rate was .00032996515.  In comparison, Italy which has been the country every doctor and those who have been tricked into supporting the unconstitutional mandates of house arrest is .00032901786.  Yes!!! You read this correctly.  In 2017-2018, Texas had a higher death rate from the flu than Italy has today from the Coronavirus!  It is all how the media decides to spin it.

The final chapter has not been written for the year 2020!  It will be up to businesses to adapt, innovate and encourage while gaining the trust of the consumer.  Businesses must be vigilant in their fight to survive and DeliveryMaxx is willing to help.

The Crystal Ball was Wrong, Now What?

For those of you who were born after 2000, you can probably stop reading this blog because there will be a lot of references that you might never understand.  For there was a time when we actually had to read stories from a book that had real pages to turn.  If we were lucky enough, our teachers would roll in an old 8mm projector with a Disney movie or some other educational type of entertainment.  One of the stories that was an annual presentation during my elementary years was an Aesop Fable about “The Boy Who Cried Wolf”.

The tale concerns a shepherd boy who repeatedly tricks nearby villagers into thinking a wolf is attacking his town's flock. When a wolf actually does appear and the boy again calls for help, the villagers believe that it is another false alarm and the sheep are eaten by the wolf. In later poetic versions of the fable, the wolf also eats the boy.  Wow…does this story fit today’s narrative at all?

Did you know that the First Amendment protects the freedom of expression; however, it does not protect dangerous speech?  A perfect example is falsely yelling “fire” in a crowded theater.  By doing so, one would create such a panic and others would be harm during the rush to protect themselves from sure death.  The same goes for someone who were to jokingly state they have a bomb packed in their luggage on a plane.  Try this yourself, and you would find yourself spending the night in a jail cell waiting for an arraignment with a judge.

We can learn a lot from history, and with the current events of the Coronavirus that have gone on we will find many different narratives justifying the Media and Power Hungry Politicians who have “Cried Wolf”.  I’m not sure who is more to blame, but “if you follow the money you will find the crook” as Sherlock Holmes might say.  Unfortunately, as new unemployment numbers have quickly risen above 16 million people over the last 3 weeks, there will be many businesses that will have to rebuild.  If we don’t demand better from our media, and if we allow our National, State and Local Politicians to continue to spread unfounded panic; we will enter into
The Second Great Depression.  A Second Great Depression will bring a rapid rise in crime rate, suicide, cases of malnutrition, prostitution, alcoholism and drug abuse, out of reach higher education, increased divorce rates and child abuse and overall decline in health.  There will be many more deaths associated with The 2nd Great Depression than the current 102,058 worldwide deaths from the Coronavirus.  By the way, this number still lags behind the total number of deaths from suicides (295,519), alcohol (681,025), smoking (1,377,640), malaria (267,086), cancer (2,263,336), HIV/AIDS (457,741), abortions (11,715,138), seasonal flu (134,019) and communicable disease (3,577,500).

Let’s start by visiting the cause that has led to mass hysteria and hoarding of our toilet paper.  Just before the insane government ordered house arrest imposed on innocent businesses and consumers alike, our officials utilized the famous Epidemiologist, Neil Ferguson who boldly predicted that the United States would achieve 2.2 million deaths in a very short amount of time only later changing the claims as drastically lower because over 85% who get the virus show no or very mild symptoms?  This was the same chart that everyone said we must balance the curve.  Of course the premise of the whole scare was that 100% of the world’s population would become infected with the virus and with a little research one would find that this has never happened in the history of the world.  As of yesterday, the numbers of projected deaths have now dropped to roughly 60,000 people in the United States for the “New Coronavirus Seasonal Virus”.  For those of you who refuse to follow blindly, the Centers of Disease and Control estimates that between 12,000 and 61,000 people die from the flu each year.  Those that were upset at small business owners for stating these facts almost a month ago villainized them as Greedy Capitalist who only care about money.  Obviously, this was not true as the numbers have never and still don’t add up.  Nobody wanted anyone to die from this virus.  However, death happens and instead of shutting down the economy, those “greedy capitalist” wanted help for the elderly and those with underlying health conditions without shutting down the economy.  If we could have made decisions based on facts and not fear; this would have ended a while ago and our economy would still be strong and the death total would have still remained the same.  Some doctors even say the virus would have not spread as much as our bodies would have developed immunities (like the average flu) and minimized the spread.

DeliveryMaxx has written a blog pointing out the discrepancies of the mainstream media and power hungry politicians since March 13, 2020.  The first blog, Coronavirus Exposes Need for Online Digital Strategy More than Ever allowed readers to see that the numbers and all of the scare tactics did not warrant the responses or measures we have been taking over the last month. Ten days later we have tried to help businesses survive the chaos and all of the consumers being scared to leave their house because of the corrupt politicians scaring them into hiding by writing, How Businesses can Survive the Coronavirus Shutdown.  As businesses and people were divided into two categories of “Nonessential” and “Essential” the government began to push their agenda of separating people.  One can only assume this might have been done to perpetuate their message of fear.  Why else would you shut down a church service of 50-100 people, but allow 400 people at any given time go to Walmart, grocery store or even Lowes?  You can find the March 24th blog by visiting Your Business is Nonessential…Now What?  When businesses came to the realization that they may be shutting their doors for the last time, DeliveryMaxx tried to encourage companies to look for the positives that can develop during crisis.  We published another blog that shared how innovation can come at a time like this with the title, Starting a New Business in the Corona Climate.  The media continues to sensationalize a political agenda of the corrupt and the blog Which Side of History Will You Be on after the Coronavirus is over was published.  Good people started losing friendships over a differing of opinions, but really the entities that continue to promote fear are the ones to blame.  The only way to stop this is for the people to take back our freedoms.  A 2.2 Trillion Dollar stimulus package filled with Government Pork was quickly passed by both Democrats and Republicans (look at the bill itself and see where all the money is going).  However, the headlines just talked about free money to ease the dissention from those who were questioning these insane approaches.  Using the Internet to Spread Your Message showed exactly how to get your message out to the masses.  Just think what 2.2 Trillion is. ONE BILLION SECONDS EQUALS 31 YEARS!!!  One Trillion seconds equals 31709 Years.  And we passed a stimulus that WILL NOT entirely be used for those who truly need it, so the rich will get richer and the powerful will keep their power.  Two Trillion and 200 billion seconds equals 69,761 Years!  That’s how big this package is and now government wants to give more which means anyone who pays taxes will have to foot the bill.  Just tell your kids and grandkids that they will have to tell their grandkids the reason their taxes are so high is because we overreacted to this virus.  Take a look at What the 2nd Great Depression will look like and judge for yourself if it is smarter to shut down the economy to save thousands who would have died of flu, pneumonia, even the common cold or have millions of people lose their jobs creating much more death and destruction.  When we wrote Using Social Media Channels to Share Positive Messages we also exposed how the tragedies of history might have been avoided if we had the same capabilities.  Unfortunately, the fear has started to cripple the economy and we had to fight to adapt.  In the blog How Businesses are Adapting to Adversity we empathized with those businesses that are being hit the hardest because of poor decisions of those in power are making.  These businesses will be able to fight the inequities being pushed on society by following the simple steps outlined in the blog Controlling your Message gains Trust with Customers.  Although that doesn’t mean the road to survival will be easy as depicted in What do you do when everything crashes around you?

There is hope.  DeliveryMaxx has encouraged others to work with each other described in the blog titled, Saving your Business through Networking and How Helping Others in a Crisis will help your Business in the Future.  The longer we allow the power hungry politicians and untruthful stories of the mainstream media scare the public into submission the more important it will be for businesses to follow the blog Strategic Planning now will allow your Business to Thrive Later.

The final chapter has not been written for the year 2020!  It will be up to businesses to adapt, innovate and encourage society not to fall into these traps again.  As you research other outlets, the truth will be exposed.  Businesses must be vigilant in their fight to survive and DeliveryMaxx is willing to help.
